In light of the current situation with regards to COVID-19 we have taken the decision to not open race entries at this stage. Like all event organisers we will assess the situation in the coming months.
We really hope that the race will go ahead as planned on Sunday 18th October 2020. We look forward to seeing you again this year.
2019 Results and Photos please find both 5 & 10km results here

Our good friend of the race Barry Cornelius I took about 1180 photos of the 10K, some at 0.525K, most at 5.1K and a few at the finish. The photos are available from: Oxon Races Frieth Hilly 2019
The photos are free to download. However, if a photo is put somewhere public
(including social media), please allocate the following the credit “Photo by Barry Cornelius
The 10k is open to runners age 15+ and the 5k is open to age 11+. The 10k lives up to its name ‘Hilly’ and is an ideal route for those who may have already taken part in a few 10k races and are now ready for the challenge of a few hills too!
Just remember what goes up must come down!
The 5k is certainly a flatter route, and was enjoyed by many school and junior club runners last year. It is an ideal first 5k race, or for those that are not quite brave enough to take on the challenge of the 10k hills just yet… maybe next year?
Whichever course you choose to take, please bring along your friends and family to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a great morning out!
All profits from the run go directly to the PTA Frieth CEC School This year all profits will be allocated to upgrading IT equipment. Last year we raised over £8,500 and we have ambitions to improve on that again.
The initial feedback from runners, spectators and volunteers and has been overwhelmingly positive. It is always our intention to put on the best race we possibly can and if there is anything you think we can do to improve upon that then we would love to hear from you – email@example.com
